Hey all, it’s time for another monthly progress report!

I know you never asked for it, but I figure if I hold myself accountable to you, I’ll get stuff done.

So, without further ado.

My March short story, Father Figures, will be up on March 1, right before I go on vacation. That’s right, after several months of an intense work schedule and an intense writing schedule, I’ll be headed to Cabo San Lucas for ten days. It’s my first trip to Mexico, and I’ll have plenty of stuff to blog about and pictures to show for it. Father Figures is a sort-of sequel to my first novel, The Fab 5, and catches you up on what’s going on with those guys ten years later.

I’d like to give a big shout out to all my beta readers who took the time to read my latest manuscript and get back to me. That novel will be called Open and will be released later this year, after a final round of structural edits (suggested by my betas) and copyediting. I’d like to personally thank Rita Anderson in Port Coquitlam, who handled the copyedits for this particular draft, her input was invaluable.

Plotting continues for Urban Legend, my next project that I ambitiously hope will be ready to release next year. There’s a significant amount of world building to do. As a matter of fact, you may have noticed that one of my stories, The Deal, is labeled an Urban Legend side story. I have a few of those planned, short stories set in the world of Urban Legend that gives critical insights into some of the characters you will see in the novel. Enjoy these as they pop up, they’ll only be available for a short time when they do.

Anyway, that’s what I have going on. Happy Monday
