Hey guys, this is a shout out to all the moms on Mother’s Day, and a special thank you to single mothers.

Here’s a stat to think about: 27% of American households are headed by a single parent. Of that number, 83% are headed buy single mothers. That means around 13 million families in the US are headed by a single mother. And on top of that a lot of those families have multiple children.

Think about that. All the late-night crying, all the feedings, the education, the putting kids through college, handled by a single mother. Like a boss.

There’s no rant attached to this, no agenda, no debate. Parenthood is hard, and doing it alone is an amazing feat. This is a heartfelt thank you to all the single ladies who somehow manage raising a child with all the other hardships in life. You’re an inspiration.

Keep shining
