Hey all!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted to the blog—sorry about that—and even longer since I’ve given any updates about anything. This isn’t for lack of stuff to report on, or lack of things to say; quite the contrary, I’ve been busy. I’ve just haven’t had a moment to slow down and do this yet. So, my friends, without further ado, let’s catch up!

  • I started a great new job at closer to home this past March! It’s been fun; I got the opportunity to expand my skillset as a Sleep Tech as well as stabilize my schedule somewhat. Being closer to home rocks! With the shorter commute (less than an hour) comes more time to write, so I expect to be more productive in the near future.

  • Speaking of production, there’s new fiction up! For a Good Time, Call… is live on the site today! Take a moment and take a look at it in the EXTRAS section, and please feel free to leave a comment either here on my Facebook page!

  • Completely unrelated to writing, the Yankees have been a special team this year, and have amassed the best record in the baseball (90-48 at the time of this writing), all while dealing with a roster decimated by injury and inconsistent starting pitching. With a bunch of our best players set to return to action in the last stretch of the season--Giancarlo Stanton, Luis Severino, Dellin Betances, and Edwin Encarnaccion, for starters--the next few weeks are going to be an exciting time to watch the Yanks! On the other side of New York sports fortunes, the Knicks didn’t make as big as an offseason splash as predicted. We missed out on Zion Williamson in the draft and were unable to deliver Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency. We did get RJ Barrett (Zion’s Duke teammate), and a bunch of mid-level free agents, highlighted by Julius Randle. It’s not a title contending team, but we will be much improved. This is a good thing, big picture, as we have the chance to keep picking high in the next draft or two and maybe flip some of those picks into players.

  • I’m still working on the edits to 4play. I’m a bit self-conscious about this project, mostly because I’ve never written a romance novel before. I’m still not sure you should call it a romance novel, but that’s a conversation for another time. I’m still on track to be ready for late 2019 or early 2020 release, fingers crossed. I can only imagine how George Martin feels, because he’s got fans clamoring for his next book, and he’s not done yet.

  • Oh, and this happened.

She said yes!

So obviously, there’s much excitement on the horizon. Stay tuned for updates!
