NaNoWriMo Update: The First 5000

And here we are… 48 hours into NaNoWriMo, and I’ve got my first 5000 words!

The writing has gone much smoother than it has in previous years, as I’ve logged three to four writing sprints a day, at between 400 and 700 words apiece. The story is chugging along at a brisk pace, and though I’m not sure what I have yet—not sure of the genre or the theme I’m trying to get to—I’m pretty sure that at the end I’ll have something finished. Trite, I know.
